March was an interesting month. It wasn’t the smoothest as I had some pretty bad days. We also ended the by month by losing our eighteen-year-old border collie, Lucky, but we got a new baby, Vax’ildan (Vax) Drake Moore.
AGWAB Book 4 (A Girl Braves the Storm) – 12,987 words
Blog – 2,763 words
Total words written: 15,750
I didn’t get as much work done this month as I would have liked. I was supposed to finish book 4, but I still have a little left to do.
Finished The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and thoroughly enjoyed it. I took a break from A Court of Mist and Fury to read it (because that book is forever long and I couldn’t wait to start The Cruel Prince). I’m also still working on The Emotional Craft of Fiction by Donald Maas. And I started Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. I like to read more than one book at a time as I’m sure you’ve noticed.
Worked on author website and AGWAB website.
Goals for April
I’ll be working on book 6 of AGWAB for April and Camp Nanowrimo.Goal is 55,000 total. About 15,000 words have already been written, so I’ll try to do 40,000 this month.
I’ll be working on doing my final edits for AGWAB book 1! And then we do interior formatting and submit files.
Plan to finish A Court of Mist and Fury, Shadow & Bone, and The Emotional Craft of Fiction. I also bought a new book, Mercury Rises, by an indie author Scarlet Kol and am looking forward to getting that today. If I can, I’ll read that this month too.
I’m almost done with my author website and the AGWAB website. I had intended to have the author website done by April 1st, but I got behind. Now I’m shooting to have both up by April 16 because I’ll be doing my COVER REVEAL! I’ll be doing a fun giveaway during April/May for signing up for the AGWAB newsletter and for the cover reveal, so be looking for info about that in the next couple of weeks!
